Mediation Services

Restoring trust between families and schools when connection feels lost.

Emma has over 8 years’ experience working in Local Authority mediation, specializing in family mediation, and has supported countless families and schools to find common ground and move forward, even in highly complex situations.

Our mediation service offers an impartial, supportive space to rebuild trust, particularly in scenarios involving behavioural concerns, special educational needs support, suspected neurodiversity, or ongoing conflict.

We’ve assisted schools and families through some of the most challenging times, always with the aim of creating a happier and more stable school life for the child.

Mediation provides a calm, neutral space for honest conversation, ensuring that both school staff and parents feel heard. It identifies shared goals and next steps, helps plan practical new strategies for the child, and rebuilds relationships so everyone can move forward.

A child’s success in school is like a three-legged stool. Each leg being the child, the family and the school. When one leg is weak, missing or disconnected, the whole system becomes unstable. We work to strengthen all three legs
