Bright Beginnings Project

Summer Craft for kids, cake for you!

Parents have told us they feel stuck at home during holidays, unable to afford days out or find suitable activities. Our sessions are shaped by these real experiences and led by someone with lived experience of parenting a neurodiverse child. That means we understand, we listen and we create with cae relax.  We know that school holidays can be challenging, especially for families who aren’t eligible for free childcare, or who struggle to access traditional outings due to cost, stress, or sensory needs. Bright Beginnings provides a supportive environment with low-cost craft sessions, guest-led activities, and wellbeing support for parents.

We offer workshops including painting, building, and hands-on crafts for children, special guest sessions including animal experiences and theatre performances, relaxation space for parents with refreshments available and evening Candle-Making Classes, perfect to connect, chat and unwind together.

Bright Beginnings is open to families from across South Staffordshire, Wolverhampton, and Dudley. We especially welcome working parents juggling care responsibilities, families with children with additional or sensory needs and anyone looking for a gentle, supportive community space.
